Ernst & Young ICT Entrepreneur of the Year 2004

In more than 125 cities in 40 countries worldwide, Ernst & Young presents its annual Entrepreneur Of The Year® (EOY) award to the most successful and innovative entrepreneurial business leaders around the globe. TMS was selected by an independent judging panel in each country. Winning this award enhances reputations, bolsters employee morale, and even improves lender relations!


International APICTA Award 2004

The Media Shoppe Berhad (TMS) took home the International APICTA Award for their tmsEKP™ solutions at the APICTA 2004 Award ceremony held on December 10, 2004 in Hong Kong. This is the first award captured by tmsEKP™ (Enterprise Knowledge Portal) since its commercialisation in early 2004. TMS competed with fourteen other companies in the same category.


Best Software Product Award

TMS won The Best Software Product Award in COMDEX/ASIA 2001 with its tmsPUBLISHER™, a web-based online publishing system that orchestrates a creative management of content and pictorial with total ease. Showcased alongside other state-of-the-art products and solutions from 150 exhibiting visitors, it impressed the judges as a system that "addresses a common need for a comprehensive tool to manage content across different groups of publishers."


ICT Entrepreneur of the Year

TMS walked away with the coveted ICT Product of the Year award for its web-based content administration and management system, tmsPUBLISHER™, while its CEO, Christopher Chan, received the ICT Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Pikom-Computimes ICT Awards 2001. Chris, who helms the Multimedia Super Corridor outfit TMS as Chief Executive Officer, said the ability to interpret the trends and threats within the ICT sector will determine the success of a company as it will set the pace for its research and development (R&D) activities and guide its business direction.


Most Promising Linux Application

IBM presented its "Most Promising Linux Application for 2001" award to TMS for its flagship application, tmsPUBLISHER™, a content management software which competes in the space of content management systems where other labels such as Interwoven and Vignette are operating.
